HTC Thunderbolt Spotted Once Again, Still No Official Announcement

More HTC Thunderbolt Details Revealed, Looks Like It Will Have 8GB Internal Store & No HDMI

What else can you really say about the HTC Thunderbolt, we have already seen countless leaks and countless rumors, however there is at least one more occurrence which has arrived in the form of another image and another set of specs.

That said, earlier today we saw what can be described as an official confirmation of the name in the form of the Rolling Stone magazine advertisement. Still, while it seems to go without reason that Verizon could still change the name and announce the handset as something else, the Thunderbolt name has appeared in print and a change at this point seems rather unlikely.

Anyway, moving past the magazine advertisement and into this latest blurb — an image and some specs. First, the image, which you can see here in this post. Not much to really say, you can see the front facing camera, four Android style touch sensitive buttons, the earpiece and the display. That aside though, maybe it is the lighting of the image, but for some reason the bezel is looking rather nice. Of course, that is just one bloggers opinion.

Moving onto the specs and we learn some good and one that may be disappointing for some. Lets start with the disappointment — no HDMI. Yup, it seems as if the Sprint EVO 4G will have that one leg up, well, that is if the HDMI was important to you.

Other specs include a 4.3 inch display, 1GHz single-core ARM v7 processor, 8 megapixel camera on the back and 1.3 megapixel camera on the front. In addition the handset will have 8GB of internal storage and reportedly ship with a 32GB microSD card included. We remain skeptical on the memory card, but at the same time remain hopeful. Lastly, the HTC Thunderbolt will be running Android 2.1.2 with the latest version of HTC’s Sense user interface, HTC Maps and Navigation and support for DLNA.

With that, hopefully this will be the last leak and the next time we mention the Thunderbolt it will be due to Verizon making the handset official.
