Even though Jonathan Blow got pretty mad at the press twisting his words to say that Sony does more for the Indie developer than Microsoft, apparently Redmond took it to heart and have decided to help the little fellows out with a bit of a publicity boost. Since, you know, things weren’t really going that hot.
Robert Boyd, the coordinator of the whole Indie Cold War thing or whatever says “the Winter Uprising dashboard advertisement is a great step in the right direction,” so Microsoft is apparently hitting all the right notes. “I’m super happy to be on the Indie Games Winter Uprising; Robert put a ton of effort into pulling together the promo and the fact that it got on the dash is quite a testament to its success,” added James Silva of Ska Studios. We’re just glad it worked out, the games are getting exposure, sales are picking up and all that. Chalk one up for the little guy and all that.
