Poll Shows Huge Majority Don't Want FCC To Regulate Internet
A new survey by Rasmussen Reports shows that the new “Net Neutrality” rules imposed by the FCC are not exactly popular. In fact in a time when the country is as divided as it has been in decades most people agree that the internet should not be regulated.

Of 1,000 people polled, only 21 percent say they believe that the FCC should be in charge of the internet the way they are in charge of the television and radio industries. A whopping 54 percent believe that that the internet should remain the wild west, and that free market competition should eventually decide the rules of the net.
According to Rasmussen, Republicans and Independents were strongly opposed to FCC ruling the web, while Democrats were more closely divided down the middle. When the same 1,000 people were asked a large 56 percent said the reason they opposed the FCC is because they thought the agency would enforce a political agenda.
