Game Dev Story Discounted To $0.99 On App Store, $1.20 On Android Today
If memory serves, we’ve been singing this game’s praises for a while now. And we know what you’re thinking, while the premise of building and managing your own studio coupled with adorable visuals and addictive gameplay sounds like a match made in Japan, this sort of technology looks like it could probably cost as much as 3, maybe even $5.

While that would normally be the case, the guys at Kairosoft are serving it up for the low-low price of any other game on sale on the App Store. That is, for the destitute and downtrodden iPhone owners. Android robber barons will need to pay a 20% premium, either because of platform fragmentation, or more likely, because Kairosoft says so. It’s awfully hard to stay mad at these guys, though, especially when you thinkĀ about where that extra 20 cents are going. If it helps, think of this as a sort of “awesome tax” for being on such an awesome OS. Not helping? Well, we tried.
