Chad Ochocinco To Endorse Motorola Tablet?
Wide receiver for the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals, and prolific Twitter user Chad Ochocinco is getting a Motorola tablet. That’s the word according to the man himself via his Twitter feed. Does this mean that Ochocinco will be tapped by Motorola once again to endorse their products in television commercials? Last year, Ochocinco was a spokesperson for the Motorola Devour, and now folks are speculating that #85 will endorse the Android tablet during Super Bowl commercials.

The wording of Ochocinco’s exact Tweet is: “I am getting that Motorola tablet to start off in 2011,” meaning it’s possible that he won’t be endorsing the tablet for Motorola, but perhaps is a regular tech blog reader and knows all about the rumored tablet that we’re supposed to see unveiled next week at CES.
As alluded to, Ochocinco is a spokesperson for Motorola and previously has endorsed their products, specifically the Devour early in the year, which was a bit of a flop for Motorola. According to regular Ochocinco fans, he tweets about Motorola Android products a fair bit and his personal phone is either the Droid X or Droid Pro, depending on whom you ask.
At any rate, the Motorola tablet will need a lot of marketing to compete with the iPad, which everybody knows (thanks Oprah). A Super Bowl commercial with Chad Ochocinco promoting the Motorola/Verizon tablet would go a long way to getting the device out to the minds of the average American consumer.
