Castlevania Harmony of Despair Getting Symphony Of The Night-Based DLC

Castlevania Harmony Of Despair DLC Will Have Two Levels, One Old & One New

Assets get reused in games all the time, not to mention other things like mechanics and animations. In fact, the golden rule when making a game is never make something that you’ll only use once. Konami have apparently decided to take that rule and apply it to an entire series, as Symphony of the Night’s Underground area will again see active duty as the basis for a new DLC level to be added to Harmony Of Despair. And if there are enough scraps left over they can get to work on the 3DS one.

Apart from the cannibalized Symphony of the Night level the 320 Microsoft Points you will be spending on this if you really really love yourself some Castlevania will buy you an additional one as well, called “Lord of the Flies”. We guess even bats and vampires get stale after a while, so they need to stick some more flying critters in there for you to whip.
