While the self proclaimed “Hulu of music videos” has had an app available for the iPhone for quite a while now it was only recently that they released an HD version specially geared for the iPad.

Vevo is indeed a Netflix or Hulu, for music enthusiasts as it offers plenty of music videos that are now in high quality format. While HD on the iPad does not mean the traditional HD since the iPad cannot reach 720p, it is certainly a better quality than that of the iPhone. In addition, the Vevo HD app for the iPad offers more than just your favorite music videos. There are also behind the scenes and making of the music video, videos. What’s more, if you love a video you watch you can share it through email or Facebook or Twitter and you can also buy the song through iTunes. One drawback is that because the app is ad supported you will have to sit through a few sponsor messages from time to time.
