Upcoming Uncharted Movie May Not Be As Bad As We Thought
In a recent interview with Joystiq, Uncharted 3 game director Justin Richmond gave an indication that the upcoming Uncharted flick might not be as bad as we had feared – or, at least, not that bad yet. When asked about the weird quote from director David O. Russell where he detailed a plot involving a family of archaeologists who are a force to be reckoned with in the world of antiquities, Richmond laughed and said, “First of all, all that stuff was denied by David O. Russell.”

“He actually called us up and was like, ‘I don’t know what these guys are talking about,” he continued. While the answer he gave isn’t really an explanation of what Russell meant, or a clarification of what the plot actually involves, Uncharted fans will pretty much take anything they can get at this point. Richmond also said that Mark Wahlberg hasn’t been confirmed as Nathan Drake yet, which is a huge sigh of relief to anyone who might be itching to see Nathan Fillion in the role.
