The app has been released on both Apple and Google’s OS and it works to allow customers to check in when they enter a Carl’s Jr or Hardees restaurant and look for various deals that are being offered that day or at that specific location. Both the first and fourth time that you check into the app you will get the chance to spin the “Wheel of Awesome” and have attempt to win even better deals of prizes. This is one of the first truly original check-in systems in the fast food industry and while McDonalds did do a program with Foursquare earlier this year Carl’s Jr. and Hardees say this is the first time the restaurants have used their own programs for this sort of endeavor.
