Epic Mickey Coming To PlayStation 3 In 2011
Do you PS3 owners need something to add a little color to your game lineup in 2011? How about something to make the release schedule for 2011 just a little bit more epic? Well, never fear because Disney is planning to officially announce Epic Mickey‘s transition to the PS3 on January 3, 2011 in Orlando, Florida, according to game site PSNow!

Until there’s an official announcement, it’s probably best to take this with a grain of salt, but according to the write up, this isn’t going to be simply a port of the Wii version, but a version that has been in development alongside the Wii title since 2008. It will tout full Move support, as well as a new engine that will take advantage of the PS3′s capabilities. During the press conference on January 3, the first trailer of this new version will be shown, and while there isn’t an exact release date yet, PSNow! says the game will release after at least six months of Wii exclusivity.
A PS3 version of the game would be pretty sweet, especially if they can fix the camera that gave gamers so many problems on the Wii. In any case, high definition graphics and full Move functionality for Epic Mickey are definitely some things I can get behind.
