Castle Crashers Passes Two Million Players

Castle Crashers Reaches Milestone Of Over Two Million Players, We're Surprised It Took This Long

The folks over at The Behemoth got a nice little Christmas present this past weekend: leaderboards for their hit downloadable game Castle Crashers indicated that the game had passed two million players. Of course, we all knew it was going to reach a milestone like this sooner or later – there are few games that can make laying waste to waves and waves of enemies as charming as Castle Crashers does.

The game was released on PSN this past August to strong sales, but the real success story lies with the fact that it has enjoyed steady sales on XBLA over the past two years, as well as becoming one of the highest rated games on XBLA. With a sale currently being held on the XBLA version (until December 31st), there doesn’t seem to be a better time to nab this one if you haven’t already. After all, 2,003,547 people can’t be wrong.
