While high definition video and regular cameras are all the rage these days, there are bound to be people who long for the good old days where a picture or video were grainey and slightly diffused.

Now there is a new iOS app called the 8mm Vintage Camera App that actually takes video and pictures and actually makes them look like they are coming from a real 8mm camera. The app can of course also take high definition videos and photos if you would like and email them, or tweet them but that really wouldn’t be much fun now would it? 8mm Vintage Camera App also can add little imperfections like dust motes and scratches just like you would have with the real version. Of course you can then send these pictures out to whoever you want and it will look like you have somehow found a bridge to the past.
