Jailbroken iPads Can Now Get Better Look At iPhone Apps With RetinaPad

RetinaPad Allows Jailbroken iPads To View iPhone Apps In HD

If there was ever a really, really good reason to jailbreak your iPad it is probably a new app called RetinaPad. This particular little app allows you to convert iPhone apps that are compatible with the iPad into an HD app, making it so that cheaper apps can be had for all of the quality.

No longer will you have that fuzzy 2X enlargement that is offered up if you are viewing an iPhone app on an iPad. Of course the drawback of this app, which is currently being offered in the Cydia store for a paltry $2.99, is that this kind of app is only available on a jailbroken model, since that is the only iPad that will actually read and use Cydia produced apps. This means that you will need to weigh pretty closely just how important something like this is to you. Don’t go to the trouble of jailbreaking your iPad if you aren’t sure it’s what you want to do.
