And here we thought the Marvel vs Capcom 3 trailer had some weird characters. Though in all fairness, not even Mortal Kombat can touch Tekken in terms of character weirdness, and that’s saying something for a game with a character that can shoot a ropesnake (come on, we haven’t made up words in ages) through another guy’s chest.

The list of offenders, and this comes straight from hazy alcohol-imbued eight-year old high school memories, bear in mind, includes a kangaroo, a breakdancing rastafarian, a Predator-looking dude with a katana lightsaber and a bear. So, yeah, a Mexican luchadora is actually a welcome change of pace inasmuch as she isn’t a member of the animal kingdom with boxing gloves and/or shorts on. There is still time for Namco to surprise us though, we’re rooting for an anteater with brass knuckles and a leather motorcycle jacket, but that’s just us. Wait, they don’t have one of those already, do they? We’ll be right back, we need to check something.
