It’s actually quite strange, being excited for a Tomb Raider game, since it hasn’t happened in years, but seeing Crystal Dynamics pulling out all the stops does nothing but reinforce that feeling. And by pulling out all the stops we don’t mean the Lara Croft character redesign, the intriguing premise or the ad blitz, though all that’s great as well, but apparently Crystal Dynamics are looking for developers with multiplayer experience, probably for their new multiplayer… coffee machine?
The studio is looking for a “senior game designer multiplayer” and “producer multiplayer”, according to some job listings found by NeoGAF posters that have now been pulled. Well, our thinking is if Assassin’s Creed went and did it, to great acclaim might we add, why not Tomb Raider? We’re not quite sure how the whole survivor thing will fit in there, but scores of Lara Crofts running around a wrecked landscape shooting arrows at each other sounds just ducky.
