Fortunately it’s not all tears this Christmas Eve where Team Meat is concerned, since apparently they’ve been hard at work on some Super Meat Boy improvements that will be hitting soon when not ripping PETA a new one. The level editor we’ve already heard about, but there are also new levels in the pipeline and since you need to access those levels from somewhere a new hub level will make an appearance as well.

A new PC-only portal painstakingly erected on the Interwebz will do the grunt-work of cataloging user-created levels and the new hub world, creatively dubbed “Super Meat World” will also contain special levels for every hidden character in the game, if we’ve got this right. What we especially like is the “Enter the Unknown” feature the hub level will be getting exclusively on the PC version, which will see a constantly changing challenge made up of high-quality levels created by the community.
