Police Arrest North Carolina Man Suspected Of Stealing Consoles From Kids With Cancer
Police in Charlotte, North Carolina are reporting that they’ve arrested a man suspected of stealing game consoles from kids with cancer. Yes, you read that right, a grown man stealing from kids with cancer. Charles Everett Hinton allegedly stole some Xbox 360 consoles from kids at the Levine Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Center in Charlotte earlier this month, and apparently he was kind enough to give the security cameras a nice shot of his entire face while doing it, as seen in the photo below.

Hinton, who is a registered sex offender, has been charged with burglary, larceny after burglary, and damage to property in connection with the case, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
Before you lose all of your faith in humanity, though, there is one bright note in this story. Anthony Calandra and Matt Shor, who together own an Xbox 360 repair facility in Charlotte called ShoCal Repairs, have donated their own personal 360s to the hospital, and they’re accepting donations of broken 360 consoles so they can repair and donate those as well.
As for Hinton, well, I hope he has a good time in prison. Picturing him explaining that he stole video games from sick kids to fellow prisoners is justice enough for me.

What a stand up human being. I hope they lock him in jail for a very long time.
