Indie iPhone Holiday Sale Emulates Humble Indie Bundle With Charity Sale

Indie Iphone Games Gor For $0.99 Each, Third Of Proceeds Go To Child's Play

Following the success of the Humble Indie Bundle and the now slightly larger Humble Indie Bundle that also gobbled up the first one, Indie iPhone developers have put together a sale of their own to raise some money for Child’s Play and some publicity for their games, but mostly the former.

Participating games are Osmos (Hemishere Games), Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor (Tiger Style), Eliss (Thirion), Drop7 (Area/Code), Solipskier (Mikengreg), and Canabalt (Secret Software), all of them best-selling games in their own right, but together forming a sort of Indie App Store Captain Planet. The whole schtick is different, you’re not paying whatever you want, you’re paying whatever they want, like Ayn Rand intended and a third of the proceeds go to sick children. Fortunately all they want is $0.99 a pop. Not a bad bit of business all in all, we’ll give it that much.
