PS Move's Sharp Shooter Peripheral Makes Killzone 3 That Much More Realistic

New Video From Sony Features Interview Herman Hulst, Showcases Sharp Shooter In More Depth

Well, it would seem that the PlayStation Blog is just our go-to source for news today, eh? In a video recently posted on the PlayStation Blog, Sony interviews Herman Hulst, who is managing director of Guerrilla Games, the studio behind the upcoming Killzone 3. In the video, they look at the Sharp Shooter, the latest peripheral for the PlayStation Move which was announced last week, and Hulst talks about how Guerrilla Games are implementing the gun into Killzone 3‘s Move support.

Of course, they don’t have to do much in the way of implementation to include support for the Sharp Shooter, considering that the Sharp Shooter is essentially just another set of hands for your Move controllers, but the idea still sounds sweet. There isn’t any actual footage of Killzone 3 being played with the Sharp Shooter, but the conversation alone is enough to get me excited. When you think about the Move’s accuracy coupled with an actual gun peripheral that looks to go for usability over style, the potential results are drool-inducing. Enjoy the video!
