Sony Not Giving Up Physical Media For "Confusing" Digital Retail
Every so often rumors about new consoles going all digital and kicking physical media to the curb pop up, and Sony, since they’re the only ones to have done so unsuccessfully with a console and are at the same time the biggest stakeholder in physical media due to their Blu-Ray HD format winner are always quick to chime in. And their position of late is unsurprisingly unambiguous: physical media is here to stay for at least ten more years.

“The reason retail has been around for thousands of years is because it works really well at showing you a range of content, having experienced store staff that can find the game you are looking for, tailor choices to your needs and up-sell you something you hadn’t thought of,” says Andrew House, who’s some sort of big kahuna over at Sony, so he must know what he’s on about, right?

“the only ones to have done so unsuccessfully”
I’m sorry Catalin but you have absolutely no idea what your talking about, and furthermore your obvious personal dis-like for Sony and biased comments took any credibility away from your article. Do yourself a favor, try doing a little research and being somewhat subjective before posting any more articles in the future.
I have to admit that if there are any other examples of console manufacturers who have transitioned from a physical media console to a disc-less one and been rebuked commercially for it like Sony did with the PSP Go, I’m not familiar with them. Please provide an example to back up your statement. Pointing out those biased remarks would be nice as well, I’ve looked again and I can’t really find any. Also, you probably mean objective, but that’s OK, people make mistakes all the time.
