Mass Effect 3 Releasing On PS3, 360 & PC Simultaneously
I’m sorry to say it 360 owners, but your days of saying “We’ve got Mass Effect, what do you have?” are about to come to an end, as EA has announced that Mass Effect 3 will land on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC at the same time. Of course, PS3 owners probably won’t ever get the original Mass Effect on their console, seeing as how Microsoft owns the distribution rights, so I suppose 360 owns can still shove that in their faces.

2011 is going to be a big year for BioWare, with Dragon Age II and Mass Effect 3 releasing, as well as the release of the highly-anticipated Star Wars: The Old Republic, the MMO that is believed by some to be the World of Warcraft killer. Likewise, it’ll be a big year from PS3 owners, since Mass Effect 2 will be released on January 18 and 21 in the US and Europe, respectively, and now with the confirmation that Mass Effect 3 will land on the console sometime in Holiday 2011, PS3 owners will be getting a heaping helping of Mass Effect in 2011.
If you haven’t seen it yet, check out the Mass Effect 3 trailer here. It’s freaking awesome.
