Gmail For Android App Updated By Google, Market Already Has the New Version
There are Star Wars geeks, stamp geeks and rubber band geeks. There are also, however, massive amounts of email geeks, since nothing else would still explain why RIM is still in business and the amount of Blackberries still sold or why Facebook’s little email announcement got so much attention. This is just us using a pretty roundabout and not at all related to the subject method of letting you know there’s a new version of the Gmail app in the Android Market, and it comes with a slew of improvements. That email geeks will love and the rest of the world maybe slightly nod at, if that.

So, to our understanding, enhanced priority inbox support, a dashing new compose email feature and in-line responses are the major new changes to be expected here. Enhanced priority inbox support means you can see importance markers straight in the main message list, apparently, so… that’s always nice. We’re sure someone somewhere will find this useful, so thanks for Gmail 2.3.2, we guess, Google. You’re alright.
