Angry Birds Makeover Coming Valentine's Day, Facebook App Too
After being taken down a peg in summary fashion by the current App Store reigning champion, Epic’s Infinity Blade, Angry Birds must be feeling a bit more miffed than their name suggest they usually are. Rovio even put out a Halloween Edition, followed by a Christmas Edition for crying out loud. Sure, they didn’t go the Cut The Rope route of giving it up for free, but they’re trying here.

And the next phase on Rovio’s “trying here” agenda is a Valentine’s Day makeover, followed by a Facebook version which Ville Heijari, Rovio spokesman, is building up insane expectations for. “It will become Facebook’s biggest game. It will be Angry Birds, but also much more,” he said. Facebook’s biggest game, really? Zynga might have a word or two on that subject, why not give them a ring if you’re not too busy bringing Angry Birds to toasters, washing machines and the N-Gage.
