Motorola Droid Pro Just $20 From Amazon

Yesterday, we told you about the Motorola Droid Pro being on sale at Best Buy Mobile for $50. Amazon Wireless has taken them one further, as now they’re offering the business Android device for $20 on a new two-year contract. That’s a pretty good price considering if you go through Verizon, they’ll ask you to buy the phone for $179.99.

As I wrote yesterday, I’m reviewing the Droid Pro for TFTS so I will withhold any judgement on the device, but it’s pretty remarkable to see these deals for a phone that was released not even a month go. Here’s a list of the specs for the Droid Pro:

In addition to the keyboard, the Droid Pro has a number of business-orientated features, like special encryption options. The phone will also be coming in a cameraless version sometime in the future for those who work in high-security workplaces.

As far as the specs go, it’s also an impressive device for the form factor. If you look at the various BlackBerry and early Palm devices had that the businessman’s keyboard, you’ll see that they usually come with 500MHz processors and a pittance of RAM. The Droid Pro is serious hardware compared to those devices.
