Linkedin Joins Social Networking Sites By Offering "Share" Button

Linkedin Tries To Go More Mainstream, Make It Easier To Share Stories With Click Of A Button

Linked in is trying to take the next step as a social networking site by allowing people to easily share posts or articles on the site, from other sites with just the click of a share button

Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites have all gotten in the action of having certain sites such as this one allow people to get stories they find more interesting out there with just one button press. Obviously, the easier it is to share an article from a particular site, or to a particular site, the more likely you are to actually do it.

Inside Linkedin, there are three different flavors of share buttons publishers can choose to put on their websites and when they do, users of these new share buttons will automatically have those stories, or links to those stories pop up inside their Linkedin accounts. While Linkedin does not have the following of Twitter or Facebook it does have a very specific clientele that might find this sort of access interesting.
