PETA Releases Super Tofu Boy, The Vegan's Answer To Super Meat Boy

I love PETA, but not for reasons you’d think. I don’t love them because I’m vegan, or because I think that domesticated animals should be outlawed. No, I love them because they do stuff like release Super Tofu Boy, in turn supplying me with an endless amount of ridiculous content to laugh at and otherwise disparage.

In the aforementioned parody, players take up the mantle of Tofu Boy, who is tasked with saving Bandage Girl from a vengeful Meat Boy. I played the game for a little while, but couldn’t finish the second level because the controls were so terrible and Tofu Boy apparently has an affinity for jumping in the exact opposite direction I tell him to. It was still good for a few laughs, especially if you go to the “characters” page and read their mini-biographies. I found Meat Boy’s to be particularly brilliant:

“Meat Boy is a vengeful, bloody cube of rotting animal flesh. And he smells. After a short-lived fling with Bandage Girl (sympathy dates, really), he became enraged when he was dumped for the tasty and satisfying Tofu Boy. Once Bandage Girl slept with Tofu Boy and saw all that he had to offer, it was bye-bye beef, hello bean curd. Enraged by his loss and lack of ability to compete with the badass that is Tofu Boy, Meat Boy snapped and kidnapped Bandage Girl—because if he can’t have her, no one will.”

Oh, the glory of it all.
