Game Dev Story 2 Is Definitely Coming, If You Missed The First One

Game Dev Story took the press and most importantly the buying public by surprise a while back, by basically providing a game development studio ant farm that allowed you to try out some game ideas and see if random imaginary people generated by your iPhone would buy them. However, the “little app that could”‘s success surprised no one more than its creators, Kairosoft.

Apparently they’ve been creating entries in this series for a good long time before porting it to the iOS and becoming App Store famous. Yeah, it’s this thing we’re trying out, kind of like Internet famous, do you like it? Back to Kairosoft, who are now developing the second Game Dev Story, equivalent to the year 2000 Game Dev Story 2 PC release, only with added features like sending your developers over to work in your friends’ studio (really good friends), but not before releasing their take on a SimCity-style town management game first.
