New Survey Shows Smartphone Owners Loyalty Lasts Only As Long As Features Entertain

Smartphone Brand Loyalty Almost Non-Existent According To New Poll

While brand loyalty can be a large part of what keeps certain companies going in retail, that is not really the case when it comes to electronic equipment. A new poll shows that there is almost no brand loyalty at all when it comes to smartphones

Rather, the new survey by Gfk shows that a whopping 56 percent of smartphone owners are ready and willing to keep their options open when looking for their next phone. Still, despite the lack of real loyalty among smartphone owners doesn’t really extend to Apple, which has managed to use the iPhone to keep customers coming back or remaining with the company. With quite a few of the same sort of features and functions among the smartphones the one thing that really drives interest is the ability to download apps.

The survey shows that only 25 percent of current smartphone owners plan to stay loyal to their brand.
