Lord Of The Rings: Middle Earth Defense iPhone Tower Defense App Down To $4.99
We’re not sure if J.R.R. Tolkien would be spinning in his grave, but we’re guessing he’d at least do a half-turn. We kid, we haven’t played this tower defense take on best scenes of the movies (keeping an eye on the big brother though, despite the troubles. But for $4.99 on the iPhone App Store we might just be tempted to see whether throwing Gimli over a gap or going shield surfing with Legolas is as fun as we imagined. Except we’re not and if you think that’s what you’re going to be doing in this game, we think that’s completely precious.

Remember that whole tower defense thing we mentioned back there? Yeah, that means anything resembling something not resembling the most civilized rows of orcs you’ve ever seen geometrically heading towards the nearest *ahem* tower to catch some arrows between their teeth is not happening, except maybe in cutscenes. Only we already saw that, it was called the movie. So go ahead and give the question “how good of a tower defense game should this be to make me gloss over the blatant franchise rape?” some thought. If your answer is infinity good we welcome you back among Lord Of The Rings fans.
