Kinect Hacked For Some Minecraft Action, Get Ready To Bulk Up

You guys like Minecraft some, right? Microsoft’s Kinect, that’s your bag as well? So how would you like it if you could fire up your Kinect, start playing Dance Central, but instead of Dance Central it’s Minecraft? Well you’re seven kinds of lucky this snowy afternoon, not because you get to play Minecraft on your Kinect, you can’t. But this guy can, so you can be happy for him. So you’re lucky because this exists and you get to see it in a video. And… you have your health, yeah, that’s always good.

So apparently at least half of those 2.5 million sales went to people who don’t really find much use for the thing besides coding cool random stuff to run on it. We’re definitely not complaining, in fact established developers could grab a page from the hackers’ rule book and stop treating this thing with kid gloves.

Right now only the walking and looking player actions work, but we guess you’re better off the wood chopping isn’t done yet as you’d have to pry women off your newly granite-sculpted upper body with a crowbar after getting a few hours in and who needs that hassle?
