HTC Gratia Android Smartphone Release Gets Delayed in The UK [HTC MissesUK November Release Time For The Gratia, Simply Lists It As Coming Soon]
HTC originally announced the Gratia smartphone back in mid-October and at the time it was expected to come available across Europe sometime before the end of November. Well, the month is almost over and it looks like HTC has quietly delayed the release.

Though, a bit of clarification on the delay comment, that does not mean all of Europe as the Gratia is coming to certain markets. Instead it looks like this delay is focusing on the UK. That said, we do realize that tomorrow is still November and technically they could make the originally stated release timeframe however there is a slight catch to that. It seems that the crew over at Unwired View reached out to HTC looking for an answer and what they received back in return seems to sum it up as not coming today or tomorrow — hence the HTC Gratia has been delayed comment.
Anyway, according to the official word from HTC, the Gratia is “due to be released in the United Kingdom soon.” And furthermore, they “do not have exact dates as of yet.” Not looking good for anyone waiting. Of course, while the Gratia is decently spec’d there are similar models available should you decide you simply cannot wait any longer. The reason for the delay is unknown.
Otherwise, the HTC Gratia features goodies such as a 3.2 inch (320 x 480) touchscreen display, optical trackpad, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth 2.1, 3.5mm headphone jack, microUSB, 512MB ROM, 384MB RAM and a microSD card slot for additional storage. In addition, the Gratia will also have a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and video recording, the latest version of HTC’s Sense user interface and come in a variety of colors including white, black and green. Which we cannot help but think, that forrest green coloring is looking rather nice.
With that, once we learn more about when the Gratia is going to be available in the UK we will be sure to pass on the good (or bad) word.
