Top Gear, Doctor Who, Teletubbies Games Heading To iPhone App Store

App Store Getting Doctor Who Before Christmas, Top Gear & More

Don’t let anyone ever tell you Auntie Beeb is behind the times. Well, at least not anymore, with the announcement of iPhone games for Britain’s best loved television series, including Doctor Who, Top Gear and yes, the one you clicked through to the article for, Teletubbies, nestling among the Twitter and the irrational hatred. They do of course have subtitles, like Stunt School, My First App and Mazes Of Time. Are they good subtitles? That depends on how long it will take you to match them to their respective franchises, doesn’t it?

“Doctor Who is the UK’s number one science fiction property, and I think it is in the BBC’s top three for worldwide sales, so it is great to bring it to Dundee – especially in light of what happened at Realtime Worlds and the effect it had on Dundee,” is what Doctor Who developer Tag Games told The Courier. “It shows there is still something positive we can bring to the sector.” We also know the game is letting you play as both the doctor and Amy Pond and is coming right before Christmas. Not that time usually means that much to the good doctor.
