New Dragon Age II Character Revealed By BioWare
BioWare recently announced the newest key character in their upcoming game Dragon Age II on the game’s official website. Her name is Aveline Vallen, and from the looks of her, she’s a pretty grizzled warrior. She joins the previously announced dwarf Vallic and pirate Isabela. So, in more traditional RPG terms, BioWare has announced the warrior, archer and rogue. Now we just need a mage (Morrigan? Please?) and a priest and our Dragon Age II raiding party will be complete!

The website gives little in the way of her actual plot involvement, but it does offer this bit of information on Aveline: “Aveline Vallen is a soldier, a master of sword and shield, and a tireless guardian… to a point. The daughter of an exiled chevalier, Aveline is not the knight her father wished her to be. Although fully trained in chivalrous combat, she was raised in the shadow of a lost life and will not lose another for the sake of honor.”
Check out Dragon Age II‘s official website for more information Aveline and the other two previously announced characters. Dragon Age II is set to release in the US on March 8, 2011, and in EU on March 11 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC
