Google Chrome Extension Allows Users To Export Facebook Contacts [Chrome Extension Allows Exporting Into Gmail Or CSV File]

While there has been a pretty nasty fight between Google and Facebook when it comes to sharing contact information between the two companies a new Google Chrome extension seems to settle the fight once and for all.

The extension, called ““Facebook Doesn’t Own My Friends,” was developed with a clear intent to slight Facebook. On the about page of the extension the developer left the following note: “Despite what Facebook says, if someone is your “friend” and you can see his/her email address on his/her Facebook info, they are probably OK with you emailing them, Facebook doesn’t let you export this data, so they expect you to click on each of your friends’ pages, copy their email address (or other contact information), and paste it into your email client. Kind of ridiculous? Yes.”

Using this particular extension you can either import your facebook contacts’ emails into your Gmail account or you can download them into a CSV file making it possible to then import them into other email clients.
