Gears Of War 3 Kinect Controls? Not Happening According To Cliff Bleszinski

Kinect In Gears Of War 3 Rumors Are Debunked By Gears Designer

IGN reported that Epic’s ode to chainsaws, or as we like to call them, lumberjack swords is not getting support for Microsoft’s ode to epileptic seizure victims, or as we like to call it, Special K. You know the one we’re talking about, hacked all to pieces, glued to robots, beloved of the Japanese.

Back when Kinect was still going by Natal, Gears of War designer Cliff Bleszinski said the Kinect is “not the kind of thing you tag onto a game like that”. He did say some nice things, but it’s the mean things that stick, so the 180 if the new report did turn out to be true would forever ruin the credibility of the man they call CliffyB. Or Dude Huge. He couldn’t have that, so he tweeted up a seven-letter word salad and testament to how much of a river in Egypt denial is not just: “No Kinect in Gears of War 3.” It’s the finality that gets us.
