Electronic Arts' New Microbot Trailer - Disease Hunting Nanobot Arcade Shooter Shown Off

This Microbot Trailer Shows Ea's New Take On The Arcade Shooter

The profession of medicine has been generally ignored by modern games as subject matter apart from the brilliant Trauma Center series and that isn’t about to change anytime soon, though EA certainly want you to think so judging by their new trailer. It’s basically what looks like an arcade twin stick shooter in the vein of Geometry Wars, Everyday Shooter, etc., but with a clinical twist.

You’re a very small robot doing the very big job of curing various diseases, ailments, etc through suddedn and sustained viloence to their direct representatives, viruses and such. Eagle-eyed readers will no doubt note the resemblance to Spore’s early levels in visual style, as well as similarities to Jenova Chen’s flow.
