Uncharted Movie Stars Mark Wahlberg; Robert DeNiro, Joe Pesci Also To Appear

You might have heard down the grapevine (a competent replacement for fiber optics and indeed the entire telecommunications industry if popular wisdom is to be believed, also a good place to hear about possible Uncharted 3′s and Mass Effect 3′s) about a movie based on critically-acclaimed PS3 exclusive Uncharted, which is also the first Robert DeNiro/Joe Pesci reunion since Goodfellas. Everyone who ever listed Citizen Kane as their favorite movie anywhere’s world just turned upside down.

And they cast Mark Wahlberg as Nathan Drake, which is pretty much gravy. It’s always better to cast the hungry ones who have stuff like Marky Mark to live down. No matter how successful they get, they always have something to prove. The project is apparently to be helmed by Three Kings director David O’Russell. “David is one of the best writer/directors I’ve ever worked with,” says Mark Wahlberg, but it doesn’t count since he copped out with the “one of”. “The idea that he has is just insane.” DeNiro in this movie? We couldn’t agree more, Marky, bonkers.
