Richard Branson Launching 'Project' Magazine For iPad Next Week

Branson's Project iPad Magazine App Set For Launch On Tuesday

Hot on the heels of the announcement that iOS 4.3 would be bringing a new iOS app that is specifically geared towards bringing daily exclusive news to the iPad, Richard Branson has announced his own iPad magazine.

Steve Jobs and Rupert Murdoch have announced that they will be collaborating on “The Daily” and Apple is specifically launching the iOS 4.3 in order to help the new subscription feature that The Daily will offer. While little is known of Richard Branson’s iPad magazine, Project, we do know that it will be covering news, politics, entertainment, business and travel. Whether the Project is in direct competition with The Daily or whether it is a mere coincidence that another media mogul is launching his own iPad app just a few days before the other isn’t really known. Nor is how much the Project will actually run and whether it will also have a subscription service attached. What is known is that the Project is due to launch on Tuesday, November 30th.
