Hertz Rental Car Adding More EVs To Fleet
Hertz Rental Car Company is getting very green starting in 2011. The rental company will be adding 100 new coda electric cars to its California fleet starting next year. Coda is an electric car that can get between 90 to 120 miles on a single charge and can be recharged using a household outlet or a commercial fast charging station.

The deal between Hertz and Coda is part of a larger green initiative that will see the car rental agency adding all sorts of electric vehicles over the next few years. Along with Coda cars, Hertz is also going to be adding Nissan Leafs to their California fleet. The Hertz global program is more than just electric cars and is a huge initiative that the company has undertaken in order to get greener and attempt to take over the top spot in the car rental business rankings. Hertz will also add more locations that include more fast charging stations and car sharing locations.
