BLACK FRIDAY: Steam Offering Black Friday Deals Through Thanksgiving Weekend On Borderlands, Half-Life 2, RUSE

We have more offers for those of you who want to skip the Black Friday crowds and do some shopping from your couch. Steam is offering daily deals on PC games, starting today and running through November 29th. Unfortunately, unlike Microsoft’s Xbox Live Arcade week-long sale, we don’t know everything that’s going to be on sale as they announce the new games every day and haven’t supplied a list ahead of time. We do, however, know some of the sweet deals happening today. Check them out after the break.

Here’s some of the early Black Friday deals Steam is offering up today:

• The Deus Ex Collection (Includes Deus Ex: GOTY Edition and Deus Ex: Invisible War) – $4.99
• Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse – $10.50
• Alpha Protocol – $7.50
• Shank – $10.04
• Counter-Strike Source – $5.00
• Borderlands – $9.99
• Prototype – $14.99

I have to say, those are some pretty great games for pretty cheap (with the exception of Alpha Protocol, but hey, you can’t win ‘em all, right?). Steam is also having daily deals on Multi-Packs, just in case you have multiple gamers in your life that you need to buy presents for. Today’s multi-pack deals include:

• Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition – $11.99 for 8 copies
• R.U.S.E. – $149.99 for 6 copies
• Borderlands – $39.99 for 6 copies
• Half-Life 2 – $19.99 for 10 copies

So, basically, if you buy the Half-Life 2 multi-pack, you’re getting 10 copies of the game for $2 a copy. A pretty sweet deal, if you ask me. These deals will only be up for the next 20 hours or so, so if you see something you like, head over there and pick it up before they’re replaced with tomorrow’s deal, and be sure to check back each day up until November 29th.

I’m no psychic or anything, but something tells me that Black Friday on Steam might be pretty big. I have a feeling they might be saving some of their best deals to put up on Black Friday. Of course, this is just me thinking out loud, so if you don’t get the deal you want when Black Friday rolls around, don’t come crying to me.
