BLACK FRIDAY: Apple Announces Black Friday One-Day Sale
Apple has officially announced their Black Friday sale, or as they are billing it, the “special one-day Apple shopping event.” The sale is going to take place on only that one day and that day will be November 26th.

This news does however come with some good news and some bad news. First the good, which is obvious in that we know Apple will be having the sale. Second the bad, we are never sure which items will be discounted as Apple keeps this a secret until the sale actually begins. Of course, that usually means there will be plenty of speculation based on the one splash page that Apple has offered up announcing the sale.
So far that page includes a present that has a red ribbon and images of plenty of Apple products including an iMac, notebook, AppleTV, iPhone 4, iPad, iPod nano, iPod Shuffle, wireless keyboard, wireless mouse and more. As for the text on the page;
The special one-day Apple shopping event. November 26.
Come back to the Apple Online Store the day after Thanksgiving for a special one-day-only holiday shopping event. You’ll find dozens of great iPad, iPod, and Mac gifts for everyone on your list.
Mark your calendars now. And until then, get started by browsing the Apple Online Store for great ideas.
The funny part here is that Apple is touting this sale and then offering the “Shop Now” button at the bottom. I cannot imagine very many people hitting that button at this point. Furthermore, I can say from previous call center experience taking 1-800 Apple Sales calls that most of the people ‘shopping’ at this point are really asking for information as to the sales. That said, if I were in the market to purchase something Apple — I would wait until Friday to make that purchase.
