Steve Jobs & Rupert Murdoch Collaborating On Daily News iPad App
Several months ago, we told you about NewsCorp’s newest endeavor. “Newsman” Rupert Murdoch has long had his sites set on bringing something completely unique to the iPad and it appears that within the next month we should see that come to fruition.

The really interesting part of this story is that the NewsCorp iPad news app which is apparently going to be called “The Daily” will have significant collaboration than none other than Apple’s Steve Jobs. What will apparently make The Daily different from all other news and media outlets is that it will not be offered anywhere but the iPad. For 99 cents a week subscribers will get content that has a “tabloid heart with a broadsheet mind” and that they cannot get anywhere else. Just how involved Apple and Steve Jobs will be with the project when it launches is anybody’s guess but certainly Apple specific news through The Daily before it can be found anywhere else might be worth the $4 a month to some users.
