Nintendo To Offer Colored DSi Bundles For Black Friday
Gamers, you’ll want to pay particular attention here as this not only serves as a Black Friday special deal but also as an interesting tidbit for you–Nintendo is looking to offer up special DSi bundles featuring two fairly new colors, green and orange, but also throwing in a copy of Mario Party DS in the process.

It’s part of the big 25th anniversary of the original release of Super Mario Brothers (man, it’s been that long already?) and it’s scarcely a surprise to see that the iconic plumber is getting a little extra bit of celebration for his silver anniversary.
The orange and green bundles are set to sell for $149.99, and actually join a bundle announced previously, the red bundle, which offered Super Mario Brothers themed graphics, the Mario Kart DS game, and several preloaded titles like Brain Age Express: Arts & Letters and Brain Age Express: Math and Photo Clock.
Considering that the red bundles cost fully $30 more than the orange and green, and offer more games to boot, I’m not personally sure why anyone would buy the slightly cheaper version, unless they’re really enamored with Mario Party or must have a certain color scheme for their portable gaming hardware.
But still, it’s a pretty good offer, and if you’re not particularly choosy about the content on your DSi, you’ll get the whole package at a good price no matter which route you end up going. And they’ll both be available for Black Friday at stores all over, so keep your eyes open while you make your shopping rounds. There’ll likely be plenty of places to find this set, so if you’ve got gamers on your Christmas (or other holiday, depending) shopping list this year–or you just want one of your own–you’ll probably be able to find this bundle most anywhere you’d go shopping for gear anyway.
