BLACK FRIDAY: Barnes And Noble Drops Black Friday Deals
An exciting bit of news for you here–we all know that without the media to run them, your big new 3D LED television is just a big expensive paperweight. Thus, you’re likely going to be very happy about Barnes and Noble’s big announcement of its own Black Friday deals that will carry on all the way into Cyber Monday.

First off, the big deal is that, should you buy $50 worth of stuff at participating stores on Black Friday (you’ll likely want to check ahead first), you’ll get a free membership with them, which represents a $25 savings immediately plus savings throughout the one-year term of the membership on future purchases (including an extra deal on Cyber Monday, more on that in a minute), so if you buy a lot of books through the year, this is something you’ll want to look into.
Meanwhile, further bargains will be had on items throughout stores, like 25 percent off a Nook accessory when you buy a matte screen film kit, half off books and so-called “deluxe cookbooks”, anywhere between 30 percent and half off a list of DVDs that measures into the hundreds, and 30 percent off lapdesks, which are great if you have a laptop that you like to use just as the name implies.
And like I said earlier, the deals carry on into the notorious Cyber Monday, so named for being the largest day of online shopping when workers go back to the office and use the fat pipes companies have to do a little shopping on the side, though these days that seems more dangerous than usual in terms of keeping your job in the first place. The deals there, however, include 25 percent off any one item for Barnes & Noble Members, while all non-members get free shipping as a matter of course. Meanwhile, DVD and Blu-ray titles will be available at up to a catastrophic discount of 80 percent off, and Home and Gift buyers will get a buy one get one half off deal.
Big deals at Barnes and Noble this year, folks, so if you’re looking to get some new home theater gear for the holidays, you’ll likely want to look here for a good way to fuel it up.
