Bioware's Speculated Multiplayer Mass Effect Clues Gradually Revealed
We definitely thought Bioware’s new thing had been teased raw by now, but they beg to differ and have launched a whole raft of clues designed to point nowhere in particular and everywhere at once. On their Facebook page for instance, they posted a series of barcodes that, upon careful examination and after a certain amount of unhealthy obsession over (by someone other than us for once) yield the number 55.845, the atomic weight of iron as it turns out, the lowest ever recorded temperature of -128.5˚ Fahrenheit (taken in Vostok, Antarctica in 1983, a name fortuitously shared by the first manned space flight as well as a Mass Effect star system) and a British Secret Intelligence Service URL, which we’d guess is a British Secret Intelligence Service URL.

Speculation includes an update to Bioware multiplayer mech game Shattered Steel, as well as a slightly more plausible Mass Effect multiplayer game, but since our brains are pretty much pattern-seeking machines that find everyone from Elton John to Jesus in everything from grilled cheese sandwiches to bathroom tiles, you could be forgiven for waiting for the Spike TV VGA on December 11th to know for sure.
