Mass Effect Multiplayer Game From Bioware Rumored
Bioware, we need to talk. You’ve been getting some bad advice somewhere, you’re under a less than positive influence, we don’t know. But there’s stuff happening, weird stuff that you never used to do before. Like ruin Dragon Age 2 to expand a demographic. You guys weren’t that company. Also, that video reveal, we knew something was up with that. So what’s this we hear about a multiplayer Mass Effect that’s meant to appeal to the Call Of Duty market? And we’re definitely not saying you couldn’t do it, we’re asking ourselves, why would you want to?

In hindsight, both EA and Bioware have said certain things that seem to hint at the possibility, like extolling the virtues of games set in the Mass Effect universe but are not a part of the main trilogy, or looking for multiplayer-focused personnel. It seems this new game will have some sort of single-player component as well, but it’s not likely to focus on Commander Shepherd. The ME universe is definitely rich enough to support this, but they’re going to have to do a hell of a lot better than Gears Of War RPG to pull this off without their narrative chops to fall back on in multiplayer.
