BLACK FRIDAY: Want a Samsung Galaxy Tab? Black Friday Is The Day To Land One

We’ve all got high hopes for the Samsung Galaxy Tab, this spunky, plucky little up and comer that’s looking to topple the mighty Apple off its perch of tablet supremacy, and the stores are looking to lend a hand by offering up some sweet deals on the new tablet as part of the now rapidly approaching Black Friday celebrations.

And the deals list is quite a rundown, too–remember reading about the $399 iPad out at TJ Maxx? Well, consider that busted at Radio Shack as the Shack announces it’ll sell the Galaxy Tab at $349, plus a two year data plan. And those are instant savings, too, so no need to be concerned about surviving the rebate process. Even better, Radio Shack’s Black Friday prices kick off this Sunday at either stores or Radio Shack’s website, so you needn’t worry about fighting a crowd there, but Black Friday (or Shack Friday as the Shack likes to call it) they’ll be open at 5:30 in the morning so you can add it to your shop crawl.

Better, word is that OfficeMax will also be offering the Samsung Galaxy Tab at $350, though this one is a bit unclear. No one’s sure whether it’s an instant discount or mail-in rebate, and investigations don’t show the Galaxy Tab in OfficeMax’s inventory. At least, not yet, anyway.

Further word suggests that Best Buy will join in the fun with, once again, the $350 Samsung Galaxy Tab, though one critical difference here is that the same word suggests that they’re also looking to offer the Galaxy Tab without contract for $550 instead of the original price of $600, which is a small but viable savings. Again we’re not sure here if the deals in question are instant discounts or mail-in rebates, so keep your eyes on that.

So if you’re looking to give Samsung a hand in tossing over Apple–not to mention getting yourself a new tablet that has nothing at all to do with fruit–you’ll certainly want to consider the many places you can pick up a Samsung Galaxy Tab.
