Halo: Reach, Mass Effect 2 Land A Ton Of VGA Nominations
Spike has announced their nominations for the 2010 Video Game Awards, and both Halo: Reach and Mass Effect 2 have gathered a total of 17 nomination between the two of them. I’ve never gone crazy over the VGAs, but I just might have to watch considering that two of my favorite games from 2010 are nominated for so many awards. Check what awards they’re nominated for after the break.

Halo: Reach has been nominated for the following awards:
- 2010 Game of the Year
- Best Shooter of the Year
- Best Studio of the Year (Bungie)
- Best Xbox 360 Game of the Year
- Best Multiplayer Game of the Year
- Best Original Score
- Best Performance By A Human Male
Mass Effect 2 was nominated for all of those awards as well, save for Best Shooter and Best Multiplayer Game of the Year, but it was also nominated for:
- Best PC Game of the Year
- Best RPG of the Year
- Best Performance By A Human Female (Two Nominations)
- Best DLC of the Year
I love both of these games, and asking me to pick my favorite between them would be like asking me to pick my favorite of my pets. I guess we’ll just have to see who takes home the cake when the VGA 2010 ceremony happens in 25 days.
