BLACK FRIDAY: hhgregg Locations Announce Black Friday Deals

National Retailer hhgregg Announces Slate Of Black Friday Electronics Deals, Beats Walmart On Some

If you’re not in one of the states that hosts an hhgregg store–there are 173 of them so it’s not like they’re some jerkwater nowhere brand–cheer up, because they’ll even let you do some shopping online, and at these prices, you’ll probably want to. Yes, it’s another great slate of Black Friday deals, just in time to get you fired up for the great Christmas (and other holidays, depending) shopping season.

In general, you’ll be looking for a wide array of bargain items, including prices cut almost a third on televisions, appliances, audio systems, camcorders and more, which is pretty much most of hhgregg’s inventory. But of course, there will be specific savings all throughout the stores, including some extra special doorbuster deals. And as we all know, they don’t call them doorbusters because people are lined up in orderly single-file waiting to get at them.

More specifically, the word on the discounts is a 24 inch 1080p LCD television of unannounced make for $149.99, after a $30 mail-in rebate. You’ll also get a 50 inch Panasonic HDTV for $599.99, your choice of Whirlpool Front Load Washer or Dryer for $399.99, and an LG Blu-ray player for $59.99, once again after a $30 mail-in rebate, but this is a significant accomplishment as it actually beats Walmart’s lowest price on a Black Friday Blu-ray player to date: Walmart’s best was a Magnavox with wifi for $69.

And that’s not all, either: how about a Toshiba 15.6 inch HD widescreen LCD laptop packing a Sempron processor for $299.99 (once again after a $50 mail-in rebate), a Microsoft Xbox 360 4GB with Kinect for $299.99, a Kodak 12 megapixel camera (and this one offers both 3X optical zoom and a 3 inch LCD) for $59.99 (and yet again you’ll need to take the $10 mail-in rebate).

You’ll be able to get in starting at the soul-shatteringly early hour of 4:00 in the morning November 26th, and you’d likely better get there soon if you want a crack at these.
