Call Of Duty Black Ops DLC To Be Activision's Biggest Ever, May Surprise You

Call Of Duty Black Ops Upcoming DLC Is Billed As Largest Ever

The “largest digital offering ever” is how Activision’s CFO put the upcoming, inevitable as the tides DLC to the biggest game since sliced anything and bread anything combined into words. Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg talked about offering “the Call of Duty community our largest line of an exciting new digital content ever.” We know that last one doesn’t make a lot of sense, but Activision CEO’s of anything rarely ever do, so don’t read too much into it.

There’s some speculation going around that this may be the much trumpeted, awaited (by Activision) and dreaded (by everyone else) unveiling of the Call Of Duty subscription model. On the one hand it sort of makes sense to try such a risky approach as an alternative to an already successful product, but on the other, a paradigm shift of this magnitude would probably be better served by easing people into it and allaying their fears, or else risk turning your “seven pillars” into two: Blizzard & Bungie.

thanks guys, just bringing u the news.
im intrested in the zombie map because i think black ops should have had more than two (three including DOA). the DLC will cost 1200msp ($15) which is the usual for COD.
